Are you a nurse? Street medic? Healer? Counselor? Doctor? Community organizer with de-escalation skills? This first Oakland Power Projects is intended for community members and organizations working in a variety of health-related traditions and backgrounds.
We are asking folks to commit to five Saturdays of workshops.
9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10 and 10/17
These workshops are being designed to build people’s skills and knowledge so that they can access the healthcare that they need while minimizing potential police contact. The cohort will go through a Training for Trainers series so all participants will be confident and capable facilitators
