National Campaign Director

The Campaign Director will work with our membership to support and strengthen the political and material impact of our chapter-based campaigns, projects, and coalitions. Work will include campaign planning, research, outreach, coalitional organizing, development of reports and materials, member organizing training, and national political leadership.

Oakland Organizer

The CR Oakland chapter organizer will work with Critical Resistance members, National Staff based in Oakland, volunteers, movement partner organizations, and allies to support the Oakland CR chapter membership work. This position will support the workplanning, campaign mobilizations and strategies, and membership engagement in local campaigns and projects.

National Membership Coordinator

Los Angeles, CA

The National Membership Coordinator will work alongside members as well as CR Co-Directors, other national staff and local staff Chapter Organizers to strengthen and improve engagement of member leadership in our abolitionist organizing. Work will include member recruitment and onboarding, one-on-one member engagement, organizing training and leadership development, political education, and conflict and accountability mediation.

National Development Coordinator

Oakland, CA

The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Development Director and CR members to develop, plan, and implement grassroots and institutional fundraising activities to support the campaigns and projects of the organization at a local and national level. The Coordinator will take the lead on engaging members in the development activities of the organization by providing training and planning assistance to members. This position will also provide key infrastructural support to maintain our individual donor and foundation relationships, as well as allow for the expansion of our fundraising activities to support our growing organization.

Operations Assistant (Part Time)

Oakland, CA

Deadline to Apply: July 22, 2019 | Position starts: Mid-August, 2019

The Operations Assistant will work with staff and members to maintain CR infrastructure, improve internal systems, and provide accurate and timely information to the organization’s donors, supporters, and correspondents. The Operations Assistant will play a key role in coordinating CR’s systems and functions, including finance, human resource materials (staff health insurance, etc), technology, and day-to-day administration. Through office support, contact management, and mail maintenance, this position provides relevant support to prisoner mail programs, campaign contact documentation, and other events and programs.
