In-person Prisoner Mail Nights on Tuesdays are back for Bay Area volunteers with CR Oakland!

Join us the SECOND and FOURTH TUESDAY nights each month!

Over the past 3 years, CR Oakland shifted its mail program and volunteer nights to allow for multiple ways of remote engagement. Many thanks to dozens of volunteers for participating and all your creative ideas and flexibility! Now the chapter will continue organizing remote volunteer opportunities with in-person mail nights.

Join us every month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm PST for *hybrid* prisoner mail & volunteer nights, with the option to join us in-person at our office on 2929 Summit St in Oakland or remotely online from home.

COVID Safety Protocols & Precautions:

• Everyone is asked to wear masks in the office and only eat snacks in the kitchen
• We ask folks who haven’t tested within the last couple days to take a COVID test, and we will have some available
• Air purifiers and windows open (bring layers if it’s cold outside!)
