Critical Resistance commits to regular prisoner correspondence in order to build strong political relationships with people locked up inside prisons, jails, and detention centers. Through prisoner mail programs, CR shares abolitionist resources and political education materials to be in study and struggle together; and to provide resources and advocacy tools for self-determination. RSVP to join us over Zoom to learn more about the CR Los Angeles (CRLA) chapter, meet cool people, and write to our inside comrades.
Going forward, we will be hosting these mail nights monthly – usually on the third Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. PDT over Zoom. If you are unable to make that work but are still interested in writing to folks and getting involved with the CRLA chapter, no sweat! Please still fill out the RSVP form so that we can onboard you and assign you letters separately.
