Critical Resistance Los Angeles (CRLA) is excited to collaborate with the Radical Hood Library on Sunday, December 8 to host our annual Prisoner Solidarity Postcard event. Please join us to send cards across prison walls to our people who are locked up.

Space and supply of postcards for in-person and remote participants is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible! 

At the end of each year, Critical Resistance (CR) sends a note of solidarity, hope, and encouragement to thousands of imprisoned comrades currently locked up in jails, detention centers, and prisons across the US and some internationally. The end-of-year holidays can be a challenging time for our loved ones isolated in violent conditions behind bars, separated from friends and family. CR works hard to bring together outside supporters every December to write hand written messages on solidarity postcards to each of our inside contacts. 

Come through, reflect on the year and struggles ahead, listen to some great music curated by DJ Jose, enjoy some snacks and refreshments and join us in solidarity, resilience and resistance. If you cannot join us in-person, you can still volunteer to write postcards independently (though supply for remote postcards are more limited).
