Every Monday through June, CR Oakland is fundraising for The Zachary Project, a mutual aid resource for members in our Bay Area community in need, honoring beloved CR Oakland member and organizer, Zachary Ontiveros, who tragically passed away in 2015. Help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000 so that The Zachary Project can continue to provide the vital resources our loved ones need to survive, resist and thrive.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing economic crisis began, Critical Resistance has supported 8 individuals through the Zachary Project, distributing a total of $5000. This is nearly 3x our yearly average!

Due to the overwhelming need, the funds available for the Zachary Project are now running low. We need to immediately refill the pot so our loved ones and community can continue to access this crucial support.
