To celebrate the release of The Abolitionist’s next issue, “Life After the PIC,” we’re throwing two launch events.

First up, there’s a night of conversation with contributors to the issue, at Eastside Cultural Center (2277 International Blvd., Oakland) on February 15 starting at 7 p.m.

And then, on Friday, February 24 starting at 10 p.m., come dance to some sweet soul classics at Sissy Strut (Underground SF, 424 Haight St., San Francisco). Thanks to TheHandsome YoungMen for inviting us to be a part of the party.

Both events have a suggested donation of $5. All proceeds will go to supporting the paper and continuing to get it inside to over 2,500 people for free. Join us!
