Out of our Portland chapter, CR is part of the Oregon Prisoner Coalition, a statewide coalition advocating for imprisoned people and organizing against imprisonment in Oregon.
Currently CR is collaborating with Oregon Prisoner Coalition to create a new Know Your Rights tool for Oregon prisoners and a general resource hub for imprisoned people in the Pacific Northwest. Both tools will compile different accessible resources that exist in Oregon for imprisoned people, including materials on mental health resources and access, disability justice, resources for trans and gender non-conforming imprisoned people, and more.
