Critical Resistance has had a long history of organizing in different parts of New York. In 2020 and 2021, Critical Resistance has been working to rebuild its East Coast chapter by expanding our chapter work in New York city to other parts of the state. Currently, CR New York is working to use participatory defense strategies to get people released from detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
