This week, Atlanta residents and organizers are making a final push to gain the 70,000 signatures needed to get a referendum on the November ballot for the people of Atlanta to vote on the Cop City project – an initiative overwhelmingly opposed by local residents. Calls have gone out from the Vote to Stop Cop City organizers for allies and organizers nationally to join them in this final week of action to get signatures by Monday, August 14.
Critical Resistance (CR) is answering the call – will you join us?
Upon request from our Southern movement partners, CR is sending a delegation of CR members from other states to support the Stop Cop City canvassing effort. Landing in Atlanta this week, we hope to see you this Saturday, August 12th at either of these canvassing actions:
1.) the Vote to Stop Cop City Canvassing Blitz – from 10am – 4pm
2.) and the Weelaunee Coalition Signature Smash! From 10am – 5pm

Not based in Atlanta or unable to canvass in-person?
You can also phone canvass from the comfort of your home and contact folks who are eligible to sign the petition to direct them to locations to sign. No experience is necessary and calls can be made from anywhere.
