The Agreement to End Hostilities is a historic document of prisoner organizing and resistance, written in 2012 by the “Short Corridor Collective,” a multi-racial group of prisoners in Short Corridor D of the Pelican Bay Security Housing Unit (SHU), who started a multi-round hunger strike in 2011 and 2013 to challenge the use of solitary confinement and gang validation as torture.
